Musical Jumpstart Program

Piano Lessons (Private/Group) for young beginners ages 4 to 6 Years.

Our proprietary piano accelerator is designed to prepare students for private lessons on an instrument of their choosing!

About the Program

Jumpstart is a three-level progressive course at Fried Music that bridges our early childhood Music Sprouts program and our rigorous one-on-one private lessons. Designed for students ages four to six years old (with some exceptions to the age on a case-by-case basis), Jumpstart builds a strong musical foundation in an environment resembling private instruction, preparing students for their next instrument, whether violin, cello, or piano.

Our approach stands out by beginning with the Jumpstart program, which focuses on piano to develop a student’s musical ear and comprehension. This foundational training allows students to build essential skills without the added challenge of learning string instruments simultaneously. After completing Jumpstart, students are well-equipped with a strong musical foundation, enabling them to progress rapidly in private lessons and meet the prerequisites for Advanced-Track strings and piano lessons with senior faculty.
