Our Philosophy

In this fast-paced world of the digital age, acoustic music remains a vibrant source of joy, warmth and connection. Our esteemed faculty have dedicated their lives to music and have found purpose through the passionate pursuit of excellence. After studying at top conservatories around the world and working with the most preeminent pedagogues in music, our faculty strives to continue their teachers’ legacy by imparting timeless wisdom to their students. The intrinsic value of music is what we teach at Fried Music. The passion for music is the catalyst for the blossoming of our pupils from student to artist.

The Art of Performance

The most effective way to encourage confidence and charisma in musicians is through the opportunity to perform frequently. This is an essential part of growing as a musician since, as an art form, music is meant to the shared. Accuracy is built in the practice rooms, musical refinement is honed at the lesson, and artistry blossoms in the performance hall. Encouraging frequent performing as soloists and chamber musicians allows for the greatest growth as musicians and lights their passion to share their music with others. Our new space, Fried Music II on Main Street, houses regular student, faculty, and guest concerts and events. We have two grand pianos, including a new Shigeru Kawai, in that location.
