Allison Park is a northern Virginia native and started playing the cello at age 7. She graduated from Yale University with a degree in political science, and worked as an award-winning producer at CNN in New York City for three years, covering stories in national politics, culture, and science. She moved to California in 2023 in search of a more creative career in the arts.
Allison grew up as a competitive cellist having participated in youth orchestras, summer programs, chamber music groups, and solo competitions. While she didn’t ultimately pursue a performance degree, her background in music, paired with her passion for education and business, led her to a career in arts administration.
In addition to running daily operations at Fried Music, Allison focuses on program development, marketing, and recruitment strategies through community events and local business collaborations. She also works in the Recording Services unit of FM, as a recording engineer and post production editor.
In her free time, Allison enjoys hanging out with her cat Nori and playing video games for way too long.
