Onward Admissions

We are excited to announce our partnership with Onward Admissions, who will serve as a resource for all questions related to college admissions. With a primary focus on developing and executing long-term academic and extracurricular strategies beginning as early as seventh grade, Onward Admissions aims to guide students towards securing admission to Ivy League and similarly prestigious institutions. Going forward, Onward Admissions will host a monthly Zoom session for Fried Music students and parents, providing insights and answers regarding the college admissions process.

The inaugural Zoom session (link is below) is scheduled to take place on Thursday March 14 at 5pm. This opening session is open to the public. Please join us as Onward Admissions' co-founder, Hans Nelson, delivers a presentation on strategies for gaining admission to elite universities in today's competitive landscape, with a special emphasis on music students. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. 

Hans will also be discussing Onward Admissions' upcoming scholarship opportunity in which one Fried Music student will be awarded a year of application strategy development. Additionally, three runner-up finalists will each be awarded a 25% scholarship. The scholarship will involve a competitive application process, opening after the presentation and closing on March 31. Following the application deadline, interviews will be conducted, and the scholarship recipients will be announced during the week of April 15.
